Week10 01/07 propeller test

1. Throttle integrated comparison, for the whole flight:
8 inch (above)
10 inch (above)

8 inch consumes 2600, whereas 10 inch consumes 2700
no major difference

2. Comparison of Current over time

8 inch consumes 2500
10 inch consumes 2300 
(number = amp * 100)
LOOKS LIKE 10 INCH MORE EFFICIENT

3. Response Time
There is no much difference of response time of pitching and rolling


4. PWM required at hover
At hover, 8 inch needs pwm around 1550, (1550-1104)/(817)= 54.59%
10 inch needs pwm around 1460, (1460-1104)/817= 43.59%
 8 inch can be consider under powered, as it require more than half throttle to maintain hover

5. Throttle total
8 inch give a bigger throttle total, despite a shorter flight time, because of greater throttle required for hovering

6. THROUT value
8 inch requires around 54% of throttle from arducopter, in line with actual pwm out
10 inch requires around 43%, also in line with actual pwm out
