[Daily Update] Week 7 - Image Processing research

• To achieve optimal image quality, tremendous processing power is required for photo-stitching / photo-mapping
• Hence images should be transmitted back to PC for intensive post-processing
• Method of transmitting digital image out of camera
  - CHDK
  - DSLR tethering
• Method of transmitting images from UAV to PC:
  - 4G (reliable and fast, but at cost)
  - High power telemetry
  - Modified video transmitter??
• Possible library to use:
  - !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  - OpenCV
• Possible computing software to use:
  - Matlab
  - Octave
  - Mathcad
• Big problem is to achieve orthography in photo-mapping!
